After being born at a very early age and spending his formative years as a child, Dennis McLaughlin*† decided to go ‘pro.’ He has been working in the entertainment industry for over forty years. During that time he has acted, directed, designed and taught. He has been a Shakespearean actor, a mime, a clown, a dancer, a stuntman, a fight choreographer, a rigger for special effects -- and a teacher. He has been in many films, TV shows, commercials and live action theatre shows.
He is currently Artistic Director of Passado Action Theatre, a touring theatre specializing in Arts in Education, based in Glendale, CA. "Moon” is the first time in a while that Dennis has done a straight drama and he’s looking forward to doing a show where he can speak normally… What?...It’s an Irish play?...With the accent?...
